Magda and Irena have been friends since high school and spent many years working in Toronto’s service industry, building their skills and passion for hospitality. After time in the city, they were both fortunate to find their way to the Campbellford area—a place that quickly felt like home.
Golden Café is their way of giving back—to the town and the people, through the simple joy of sharing good food and great company.
With the support and hard work of their husbands, Franek and Adam, Golden Café is proudly a two-family business built on shared values, teamwork, and a love for community. More than just a café, it was created as a community hub where locals could truly gather, connect, and where everyone feels welcome.
Magda and Irena are committed to sourcing local ingredients whenever possible, supporting nearby producers, and helping foster local growth—giving back to the community that welcomed their families and made this dream possible
